Leaky Gut Syndrome

The term “leaky gut” is loosely used to describe a condition that many in the healthcare field are still debating and researching. It is typically used to refer to a disorder where substances, including food and toxins, pass through the lining of the small intestine into the bloodstream. This can cause severe problems and eventually lead to issues like diabetes, lupus and multiple sclerosis.

What causes leaky gut syndrome?

Researchers and medical professionals have found that those who suffer from Celiac disease or Crohn’s disease can suffer from this issue.
